The origins of the iconic Anduze Vase design date back to the 17th century when Anduze potters, perhaps inspired by Italian Medici-style vases ornamented with swags and garlands, decided to create their own pottery version in the Languedoc. Standing in the foothills of the CĂ©vennes, within the historic Languedoc region of France, the village of Anduze has been renowned for its pottery since the 17th century.
It is from Anduze that ORNAMENTI has sourced a collection of artisan-made pottery designs. These designs are not designed for the extremes of the British climate and should be considered for interior use only, unless positioned in a garden during the summer months only. Ideal for an entranceway or hallway, orangery, conservatory or garden room. Normally available in a range of sizes.
