The Parterre Lead Planter is replicated from a traditional 18th century lead garden ornament design. The design incorporates a bold geometric pattern of the type once associated with formal parterre gardens.

England has a fine heritage for the manufacture of garden ornaments in lead, particularly during the 17th and 18th centuries when lead garden ornaments were considered a cost-effective alternative to carved stone for garden ornaments. Notable exponents included John Van Nost and John Cheere. ORNAMENTI has managed to source a selection of traditionally crafted lead planters that are both robust and aesthetically pleasing – and hand made by artisans in England. This design is “Handmade to Order”.
